Our ethics and sustainability
At our Trust, we not only uphold internationally recognised cooperative values, but we also prioritise ethical values such as honesty, openness, social responsibility, and caring for others in all our policies, practices, and decisions.
As a Trust, we recognise the importance of sustainable and ethical practices that take into account the environmental impact of our schools. To reduce our carbon footprint, we have implemented active measures such as adopting green energy solutions where possible. For example, we have replaced traditional lighting with low-cost, low-energy LED lighting and have installed solar panels in some of our schools. We are also committed to expanding these installations across our estates to further reduce our carbon footprint. In addition, we aim to meet the Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy outlined by the Department of Education in April 2022.
Our efforts towards sustainability reflect our commitment to making a positive impact on the environment and contributing towards a better future.
